TUMBLE CLASS

This class is designed to teach anything and everything gymnasts want to learn on floor. The floor, trampolines, and Tumble Trak will be used in this class and progressions are of upmost importance so all athletes remain safe.

Girls Instructional ALL Around

GIRLS INSTRUCTIONAL AA

This class is designed to teach girls skills on all events. There will be no more than 10 girls in each class.

Our girls’ instructional program at SGA is unique. We offer, free of charge, special hair ribbons for each level and we ask the girls to wear it in their hair when they come to class. This encourages the gymnast to work hard to advance to the next level, and also helps the coach to recognize what level the gymnast is in.

This class can be added (along with another regular 75 minute girls instructional class) for only $100! Call our Front Desk to take advantage of this deal!

GIRLS INSTRUCTIONAL

BEGINNER

INTERMEDIATE

ADVANCED

This class is designed to teach girls skills on all events. This instructional class is further separated into “levels”: White Ribbon, Gray Ribbon, Red Ribbon, and Black Ribbon. Each level above White Ribbon requires coach permission to advance, which will be dependent on required skills for the next level.

Our girls’ instructional program at SGA is unique. We offer, free of charge, special hair ribbons for each level and we ask the girls to wear it in their hair when they come to class. This encourages the gymnast to work hard to advance to the next level, and also helps the coach to recognize what level the gymnast is in.

Instructional

BOYS INSTRUCTIONAL

BEGINNER

ADVANCED

This is a class designed just for boys to advance their skills on all the boys’ events: Floor, Bars, Vault. They will also gain strength needed to perform well on the boy’s equipment: Pommel Horse, Rings, and Parallel bars. We recognize that boys in this age group tend to require discipline and structure, so we provide just that. This class utilizes conditioning to increase their strength and promote success in any sport they choose to participate in.

Sterling
Samurais

STERLING SAMURAIS

This is an obstacle-based gymnastics class designed to build muscle, and improve coordination/agility. “Samurais” will run through obstacles that will teach them to control their movements, and fly past their competition. This is a great class for children with lots of energy to burn.

Stars

STRONG STARS

Strong stars is designed just for boys. They will utilize all boy’s equipment (no balance beam), and will advance their basic skills. This class is structured, and will help parents to instill good listening skills in their child.

BRIGHT STARS

TINY STARS

During each class a coach will guide parents in assisting their child through obstacle courses. These courses will help teach basic motor skills and is an introduction into structured classes.  Only one parent per child is allowed out on the floor at a time. We encourage parents to switch weeks so that each has an opportunity to assist their child.

Sterling Gymnastics Academy

Sterling Gymnastics Academy is a brand new and state of the art facility designed specifically with parents and their children in mind. We offer classes for ages 2 & up, men’s & women’s competitive gymnastics programs, birthday parties, and open gyms.

Super Saturday

Super Saturday is from 5-8:30pm. $12 per child, pizza and juice included!
